Each year many groups, organizations, businesses and individuals join together in the streets of North Vancouver to celebrate Canada Day. Families come early for a pancake breakfast in the park before picking their spot on the curb.

The event begins with breakfast being served at 8:00am on Grand Boulevard Park at 14th Street. At 10:00 the parade begins at 13th Street & Grand Boulevard and proceeds down 13th Street to Lonsdale and then turning north on Lonsdale. This is the best viewing area as the reviewing stand is set up at 14th Street & Lonsdale. At 17th Street the parade again heads west where it will end at Mahon Park, with opportunity to view some of the entries afterwards.

We are a not-for-profit group and therefore none of our participants (or organizers) are paid. We rely on the generous support of our local municipality and the donation of goods or services from our many sponsors, and of course our volunteers. Our reward is seeing the streets overflowing with people both watching and participating, and the smiles we have brought to their faces. We invite you join our celebration of Canada's Birthday and join in the fun! NEW PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

Volunteers are needed to ensure continued success with the Canada Day Parade, over 75 volunteers are needed to control intersections, marshalling, setup & take down as well as in other areas.
